Everyone will fly into and out of Philip S.W. Goldson International Airport, Belize's only international airport located just outside of Belize City. American, Delta, Southwest, and United all fly to BZE!
Once you're in the country, you have three options to get to Placencia: Puddle Jumper, Private Van, or Bus
The twenty-five minute puddle jumper flight is by far the quickest and most exciting option! Maya Island Air and Tropic Air both operate several flights a day between BZE and Placencia. The flight is an experience unto itself that I highly recommend!
You can book this a week or two out from the trip.Â
Hiring a private van to drive you from the airport straight to our villas is another option. The two hour drive through the Belizean countryside is beautiful and particularly economical if a large group rides together.
Taking the bus is by far the most economical option at around $25 USD per person. I have never tried this, but the busses have gotten much nicer in the last couple of years. You'll want to do your research before you arrive!
A private van will drive everyone back to the airport in Belize City after a stop at the Belikin factory in Ladyville!
